    The Stockton $500 is privately funded, for a select few and is unsustainable. Alaska’s plan is a distribution of oil revenues back to the resident owners of the state thus it could be funded as long as environmentalists don’t shut down fossil fuels. Finland and other Scandinavian countries are backing out of this income guarantee after seeing no way to continue it or to have positive results. It is nonsense to think that wealth should be taken from those who have and given to those who don’t have. Animal Farm reminds us that some are more equal than others. Equilibrium would not be sustained.
