A Question About Voting …

vOTINGAn interesting question from Zerohedge today:

Elections are determined by the vote counters, not by the voters?

Those who count the votes are the employees and contractors of politicians, right? Of always, the same two parties. Of, therefore, the same interestS since both parties nowddays receive much of their funding from the same people.

Notably too, voting machines come from the same few sources and the technicians who attend them as well. So, given that we have leaned not to trust politicians and/or government and/or news media, why are we so trusting of those who count the votes?

Most especially now that we hear so regularly of manipulated elections around the world.

We have seen, seems to us, a duopoly of political power in the U.S. for a while now. We have not thought enough, maybe, about what that means. So we leave this question:

HOW DO YOU KNOW TO TRUST THOSE WHO COUNT THE VOTES? (Do you even know who they are, and by whom they are paid?)
