GLEANINGS FROM THE PASSING SCENE … (Politically Uncorrected)

Alfred_E__NeumannAs we’ve somehow survived another week, here are our collected reports:

President Obama urged a standardized testing limit of 2% of class time for public schools. (Is federal school regulation coming with Common Core?)

UBS: Another big bank feeling weak. (Under the mattress!)

High beef prices are stoking meat thefts.

A copy of the US Constitution was literally shredded by college administrators after a complaint that it was offensive.

Stopping cow burps to save earth(You think we’re kidding, right?)

Congress plans a huge summer break for next year. (A time to feel safer … )

When a black murders a white, is it ok to have an all-white jury for his trial?   (Vice versa?)

Iran has been for the first time, invited to the Syria international talks. (Did they invite Iraq to discuss Kuwait?)

New York Times: “A Mass Migration Crisis”(A nice piece on a major issue, but blind to the financial costs.)

Experts warned against sex with robots. “Dehumanizing.” (Robot rights groups coming?)

And with that, the week went wandering weakly  away …
