The Color Of Violence Laughs At Hypocrisy In Ferguson, MO

KnockoutTwo teenagers were recently shot dead by police; one in Albuquerque and the other in Ferguson, MO. The Ferguson police have not identified the officer involved. Riots have since roiled Ferguson. The New Black Panthers have rallied. U.S. Attorney Deneral Holder is investigating. President Obama made a statement. In Albuquerque, where police are under Federal investigation for shooting people, not much happened. Back in Ferguson, it turned out that rioters who were arrested were from out of town and had criminal records. So why the difference in the attention paid to the two police shootings? Both victims — if they were victims — were unarmed from reports. The only significant difference from what we see, is the pigmentation of the victims’ skin. In Ferguson, the teen was black; in Albuquerque, he wasn’t black. The political Left, that helped Jews create Israel because they opposed bigotry and pushed the Civil Rights agenda in the name of equality, don’t believe in the equality they preach. Instead, they believe in special treatment for their political clients at the expense of all others, in this case special treatment for blacks. Women and the elderly are unsafe on the streets today as a result of the “knockout game” and teenaged criminals . When reported, the media usually mentions “youths” or “teens” and is silent about the fact that the overwhelming majority of these attacks are done by blacks while the great majority of victims are not. In the linked case of an attack on a 78 year old apparently white man by six black teens, the police said it was not racially motivated. The victim had a different impression, but he was overruled after the fact; his view is politically incorrect. But the rule is reversed when the victim is black and his assailant is not; then we get riots, Federal investigations and Presidential statements. The hypocrisy is palpable. The politicians are right to run the government, color blind. When they pick favorites and treat some better than others because of skin color, they are simply doing what they claim to opposed. There is no greater hypocrisy than that … The worst of it, is that the pretense prevents any solution.

Was the Albuquerque teenager Latino or Caucasian? Those shot are not victims unless they were doing nothing illegal before or during the encounter with the police. I’ve heard at least three versions of the Ferguson story: Walked up an shot the boy in the chest who had his hands raised; shot during struggle as boy was being placed into police car; shot during struggle for gun inside police car. Don’t know the facts. Does anybody? In Ferguson, apparently it doesn’t matter anymore. Create your own scenario based on your own experiences and bias, either way.

When everything becomes politicized, news morphs into propaganda and then, facts are often just in the way. Hence they vanish … As you say: News is just packaging for somebody’s message these days.
