Was Your Great, Great, Great Grandfather A Neanderthal?

Skull TypesYou grew up with ‘evolution’ didn’t you? How homo australoppithecus became homo habilis who morphed into Neanderthals who eventually were replaced by us. That’s in all the textbooks, after all. . But it seemingly ain’t so, any more (http://www.icr.org/article/7843/). Some archaeologists have dug up a burial in Georgia (South of Russia, not the U.S.) in which they found all those guys buried together, around the same time. Their peer-reviewed article appeared in ‘Science.’ And it’s making waves.

If all those guys were around at the same time, as this seems to show, what happens to human evolution? And now the question is, were these differing types really different species of humans? Or were they just variations in the same species? This discovery throws a lot of ‘settled science’ up for grabs, making lots of folk with investments in the status quo beliefs, nervous.

Of course, that’s what real science is supposed to do, until the truth is produced. That’s how it’s supposed to work, and it usually does, sooner or later. But the more politically involved a given subject is, the later the truth is likely to be accepted.

I’ll bet this one could take a while…

No need to wait for the truth. Art Bell had a man on who was sure ‘homo sapiens’ were an experiment designed by an alien civilization. And we know everything we hear on the radio or TV is the truth.

    • Jack Curtis says:

The aliens make as much sense as most of the other theories, I guess. I’ve always blamed God, but I have to admit that someone with His qualities ought to have been able to do a better job…
