When Chicken Little Is Right…

Speaker Boehner, dumping the Tea Party in his Lurch to the Left, is falling into the Presidents’s trap. Both Dems and GOP know we’re headed into collapse; neither knows exactly when the stock market will fold and the banks after it but both know it’s coming.

The Bush bail-outs and the Obama ‘Stimulus’ papered over the destruction of the banks, erecting false-front western movie sets to fool the eye but leaving the rottenness within. The coming downturn will blow it all away, leaving a very unpleasant reality. Both parties have ignored that reality in public, not wishing to be bearers of bad news into the next election. That’s dishonest, of course.

The Prez is running around (does he ever sleep at home?) saying that the sequestration that he recommended will halt the economy, meaning that said halt will be Republican’s doing since they wouldn’t follow his orders and spend. Economy goes south=GOP; get it? I’m not sure what the Republicans are saying; it isn’t getting across in any case. The Prez has them neatly trapped…with, of course, their help, as usual.

I don’t know what this suggests to you, but to me, it suggests that the Prez is too dishonest to be trusted with his job, and the Republicans, too incompetent.  I.e: We’re doomed!

Note: Any who noted the stock market fluttering up and down today following the reports of the Italian elections up and down ought to get that said stock market is about as solid as a soap bubble on the breeze…and our economy, along with it.

The Democrats are presently perfidious, but not dumb. The Republicans…are both.

And we’re toast. (You heard it here, ahead of time…)
