Will Your School Be Feeding Your Kid ‘Pink Slime’ Today?

Pink Slime

We’ve seen Mrs. Obama’s concern for kids’ diets extend all the way to the Dept of Agriculture seizing four-year-olds’ from-home lunch buckets and forcing them to eat in the school cafeteria. Message: the government CARES about what kids eat! Right!

So then, why did: USDA Buys 7 Million Pounds of ‘Pink Slime’ for School Lunches? Must have been while Mrs. Obama was on vacation, right? What’s “Pink Slime?” Glad you asked; you may not be, though. See at the meat packer, after all the meat has gone to the butchers, you sweep up whatever’s left, grind it up, mush it together, wash it off, disinfect it with ammonia, mabe add a little color and then squeeze it into big tubes and lo! You have pink slime. McDonalds and such used to use it as filler for burgers but they’ve given that up as the public found it out. School cafeterias thougn, don’t have to worry about customer preference, do they? It’s not called ‘compulsory education’ for nothing! Our government, helping us one more time! Delicious! (Urp..!)

  1. This is really terrible and a huge part of why I don’t eat meat. Most people don’t want to hear about where their food is coming from or what happens to their “meat” before it hits their plate. Thanks for sharing!
