Another Fed Raid on the Internet…

The perennial Federal grabbing for control of the Internet goes on under either party and never stops. The net is simply too empowering for politicians to tolerate its independence if they can help it. It Can Happen Here: Feds Shut Down Music Site For No Real Reason tells of the most recent Federal illlegitemacy, this time cloaked in protecting the public from in this case, music.

Apparently, the Feds can walk in and shut down any Internet site that offends them, without recourse. Used to be, such shenanigans requred due process…
